My name is Ben Stevens. I live in Berlin, Germany, with my wife Becky. In Berlin my work consists of teaching basic theology in local churches, as well as spending time chatting with those who have doubts about Christianity. As someone who experienced a great faith crisis myself, I love this engagement with skepticism and rarely encounter a question in someone else which I have never had myself. I did my bachelor’s in German Language Studies at Missouri State University and my M.Div. at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago.
When I’m not teaching basic theology, or chatting with skeptics, I enjoy writing for publications like The Washington Times, First Things, The Gospel Coalition, Relevant Magazine, the Huffington Post, and Christianity Today. At present, I’m hard at work on my first book, entitled Why God Created the World: A Jonathan Edwards Remix(Navpress, 2014). Drop me a line if something here sparks your interest. All the best!
